The GiStrix body is a 65% polyester / 35% cotton blend at 200 gsm. That is mid-weight for a tee: enough body to hang off the shoulder rather than cling, light enough to wear under a Gi top on the way to the mats or through a long seminar. The cotton content is what your hand reads; the polyester is what the sublimation process bonds to.
It does not shrink
Poly-cotton at this ratio does not shrink. For an academy that is worth more than it sounds. The size a student is measured for is the size they keep, and when you come back for a repeat run, the same size grid still means the same thing — you are not re-estimating your spread every cycle.
Sublimation, and only sublimation
Every GiStrix is fully sublimated, and sublimation is the only decoration we offer on apparel — we do not embroider tees or hoodies. The dye is carried into the cloth rather than laid on top of it, so there is no surface layer to crack along a fold or lift at the hem.
Two things follow from that. There is no per-colour cost: a two-colour academy crest and a full photographic design are the same job here, because the process does not price by colour count. And there is no print area to design around — artwork can run edge to edge, across the front, over the shoulder, down the sleeve and across the full back. Sponsor bars, all-over patterns and full-width back designs are all handled the same way.
Ordering
Sizes run XS–3XL in men’s, women’s and youth cuts, and a single design can be spread across as many of those sizes as your roster needs. The minimum is 10 units per design. Production is 3–4 weeks from order confirmation, so apparel can be cut alongside a GiPro or Evosoft order rather than trailing behind it.

The GiFlex is a 320 gsm polyester-cotton fleece in the same 65/35 blend as the tee, brushed on the inside face so the interior sits soft against the skin. It is a genuine outer layer — the piece students wear to and from the gym rather than on the mats.
Because it shares the tee’s blend, it shares the tee’s behaviour: it does not shrink. The fit you order is the fit that comes back out of the wash.
Three styles, one fabric
The same fleece is made up as a pullover, a full-zip, or a convertible. Fabric, decoration and pricing are identical across all three, so the style is simply your choice per order — you can put one academy design on whichever version your students will actually wear. The range carries a drawcord hood, kangaroo pocket and ribbed cuffs; we confirm the exact configuration for your chosen style on the quotation.
What no print area means on a hoodie
A hoodie is where the absence of a print area shows most clearly. The design is not confined to a badge on the chest: it can run across the front panel, over the pocket, along the sleeve and across the full back. As with the tee there is no colour count to budget for, and no surface layer to crack when the hoodie is folded into a gear bag.

Sizes run XS–3XL in unisex and fitted cuts, minimum 10 units per design, 3–4 weeks from order confirmation. Pricing is $30 per unit at 10–19 units, $25 at 20–49, and $20 at 50 or more.

Prices are per unit in USD and exclude shipping. Freight is quoted per order and paid by the customer under DAP (Incoterms® 2020); customs duties and import taxes are the buyer’s responsibility. Minimum order is 10 units per design, and the tier applies per design. There is no setup charge, no artwork fee and no per-colour cost — the unit price above is the garment. A worked example: 30 tees for an academy drop
Thirty GiStrix tees falls inside the 20–49 unit tier, so each shirt is $15 — $450 for the run, before freight. Those 30 can be spread across the size grid however your roster needs, say 4 XS, 6 S, 8 M, 7 L, 3 XL and 2 in 3XL, without moving the price: the tier is set by the number of units in the design, not the number of sizes. Tiers apply per design, so the same 30 units split into three 10-unit designs would price at the 10–19 rate instead.
There is no setup charge, no artwork fee and no per-colour cost, so $450 is the garment cost in full. Freight is quoted separately per order under DAP and paid by you. At 50 units the same shirt is $10, so it is worth checking your roster against the tier breaks before fixing the quantity.

Can I get custom logos and branding on academy apparel?
Yes. Because every step of production is handled in house, your academy logo, design and colour details go exactly where you want them, with no limit on placement. Both GiStrix T-shirts and GiFlex Hoodies are fully sublimated — the design is dyed into the cloth rather than layered on top, so it runs edge to edge, carries an unlimited number of colors, and will not crack or peel off the garment. Do you allow private labeling on academy apparel?
Yes — your own neck labels, size tags and branded packaging go on before the order ships, so nothing in the box carries our name. Between the sublimated artwork and the label, every visible mark on the garment is yours.
What is the minimum order quantity?
Minimum order is 10 units per design for both GiStrix T-shirts and GiFlex Hoodies. This applies to each individual design — if you want two colorways, each requires a minimum of 10 units.
How long does production take?
Typical turnaround for custom apparel orders is 3–4 weeks from order confirmation, depending on complexity and quantity. All lead times are confirmed at the time of order.
Can we order apparel together with Gis and rash guards as one bundle?
Yes. Custom apparel runs on the same 3–4 week schedule as GiPro Gis and Evosoft rash guards, so tees and hoodies can be produced alongside them and consolidated with your belts, patches and bags into a single shipment. Freight is then quoted once for the consolidated order rather than per product line.
