Aerotough
At 380 GSM, the Aerotough is the lightest Gi in the GiPro range and sits at the bottom of the IBJJF's 380–650 GSM legal window. It is the most breathable weight we make, which is why it suits kids, hot training rooms, and competitors managing weight. Pre-shrunk pearl weave jacket, 270 GSM ripstop trousers, triple-stitched at the stress points.
Fortitude
At 450 GSM, the Fortitude is the mid-weight and the most ordered Gi in the range. It sits midway through the IBJJF's 380–650 GSM legal window — heavy enough to hold up to daily grip-fighting, light enough to keep moving in. This is the default choice for academies training several times a week, and the weight most commonly seen on competition mats.
Monolith
At 500 GSM, the Monolith is the heaviest Gi in the GiPro range. The denser weave gives an opponent less to grip and takes far longer to wear through, which is why instructors and masters tend to choose it over the lighter weights. It runs warmer and takes longer to dry. Triple-stitched and reinforced at every stress point.

Do you manufacture your own BJJ Gis?
Yes — at Gimakx we handle full in-house production, from cutting to final stitching and quality checks. We use a premium pre-shrunk 60% cotton / 40% polyester pearl weave for durability, as well as a 100% natural cotton option for instructors that is not pre-shrunk, available in three fabric weights: 380gsm, 450gsm, and 500gsm.
What is the difference between 380gsm, 450gsm, and 500gsm BJJ Gis?
We offer three weights to match different training needs and climates. The GiPro Aerotough at 380gsm is a lightweight option — ideal for kids, competitors who cut weight, and hot training environments. The GiPro Fortitude at 450gsm is our most popular weight, striking the perfect balance between durability and performance for academies that train hard every day. Are your Gis IBJJF approved?
Yes. Our standard cuts and fabrics follow IBJJF regulations for sleeve length, patch placement, and fabric type. All three GiPro variants — Aerotough, Fortitude, and Monolith — are IBJJF approved, so your athletes can compete anywhere in the world without equipment issues.
What is the minimum order quantity?

Can I get custom logos and embroidery for my academy?
Yes, absolutely. Since we handle and control every step of production, Gimakx provides 100% customization over embroidery, patches, and sublimation — including your academy logo, desired placement, and color details. This ensures every suit in your order has consistent, uniform branding exactly as specified.
Do you allow private labeling on BJJ Gis?
Yes — everything is manufactured in-house, so we offer full private labeling including the packaging. Every Gi carries a woven label customized to your brand, alongside your own size and care labels, woven patches and branded packaging, so the final product looks 100% yours.
Can you supply woven labels, hang tags and custom polybags?
Yes. Every Gi we make carries a woven label customized to the client's specification, and we produce custom polybags with your artwork screen-printed on them, from a minimum of 100 pieces. Hang tags and size and care labels are produced to your design as part of the same private-label package — tell us what you need on the enquiry and the cost is itemized in your written quotation.
Can we choose our own Gi colors?
Yes. We offer more than 12 standard colors across all three fabric weights. Colors are consistent throughout your entire order — all suits are prepared from a single stock of fabric, so every Gi matches perfectly. Camouflage is also available as a special order.
Do you offer kids' and women's sizes?
Yes — we produce a full size range from A0 to A4 for men, F1 to F4 for women, and M0 to M4 for youth. See the size guide above for the complete height and weight reference chart.
What stitching and reinforcement do your Gis have?
All high-stress points are triple-stitched and reinforced with high-tensile thread: the collar, the shoulders, the chest, and the knees. Side vents are available on the jacket as well. This construction is designed to outlast the most demanding daily training schedules and grip-heavy rolling sessions.
Do your Gis shrink after washing?
It depends which cotton you order. Our pre-shrunk pearl weave is a 60% cotton / 40% polyester blend, shrunk during manufacturing, so a Gi cut from it moves no more than about 1–3% after the first few washes. We also make a 100% natural cotton Gi, which is not pre-shrunk — expect natural shrinkage on that one, because it is inherent to the material. Tell us which behaviour you want and we quote accordingly.
What fabric are the Gi trousers made from?
270 GSM ripstop cotton on every GiPro variant, regardless of which jacket weight you choose. The trousers carry reinforced stitching and a drawstring waistband. Ripstop is a grid weave — the heavier threads running through it stop a small tear from running, which is why it is the standard for a trouser that spends its life being gripped and stood on.
How long does production take?
Typical turnaround for the GiPro Custom Series is 3–4 weeks from order confirmation, depending on complexity and quantity. The GiPro Standard Series can be shipped within a few days. All lead times are confirmed at the time of order.
Can you add academy branding on Gi bags?
Yes — every order we ship includes drawstring bags manufactured with the client's own logo, so the bag is branded to your academy rather than to us. For a sturdier carry, our pocketed Oxford-cotton Gi bag is also available printed with your logo as an add-on to a uniform set order.
Can we order a complete academy kit from one supplier?
