Do you manufacture your own BJJ Gis?
Yes — at Gimakx we handle full in-house production, from cutting to final stitching and quality checks. We use premium pre-shrunk pearl weave cotton for durability, as well as 100% pure cotton for instructors, available in three fabric weights: 380gsm, 450gsm, and 500gsm.
What is the difference between 380gsm, 450gsm, and 500gsm BJJ Gis?
We offer three weights to match different training needs and climates. The GiPro Aerotough at 380gsm is a lightweight option — ideal for beginners, competitors who cut weight, and hot training environments. The GiPro Fortitude at 450gsm is our most popular weight, striking the perfect balance between durability and performance for academies that train hard every day. The GiPro Monolith at 500gsm is our heaviest option, built for maximum durability — predominantly chosen by instructors and sensei who need gear that lasts years, not seasons. Are your Gis IBJJF approved?
Yes. Our standard cuts and fabrics follow IBJJF regulations for sleeve length, patch placement, and fabric type. All three GiPro variants — Aerotough, Fortitude, and Monolith — are IBJJF approved, so your athletes can compete anywhere in the world without equipment issues.
Can I get custom logos and embroidery for my academy?
Yes, absolutely. Since we handle and control every step of production, Gimakx provides 100% customization over embroidery, patches, and sublimation — including your academy logo, desired placement, and color details. This ensures every suit in your order has consistent, uniform branding exactly as specified.
Do you allow private labeling?
Yes — we can attach your own custom neck labels, size tags, woven patches, and branded packaging so the final product looks 100% yours. Your academy brand is the only brand on the Gi.
Can we choose our own Gi colors?
Yes. We offer more than 12 standard colors across all three fabric weights. Colors are consistent throughout your entire order — all suits are prepared from a single stock of fabric, so every Gi matches perfectly. Camouflage is also available as a special order.
Do you offer kids' and women's sizes?

What stitching and reinforcement do your Gis have?
All high-stress points — shoulders, knees, and collar — are triple-stitched and reinforced with high-tensile thread for maximum durability. This construction is designed to outlast the most demanding daily training schedules and grip-heavy rolling sessions.
Do your Gis shrink after washing?
We offer both pre-shrunk cotton and 100% pure cotton options. With pre-shrunk BJJ Gis we minimize shrinkage during manufacturing, though a small 1–3% natural shrinkage can still occur after the first few washes. With 100% pure cotton Gis, some natural shrinkage should be expected — this is inherent to the material.
How long does production take?
Typical turnaround for the GiPro Custom Series is 3–4 weeks from order confirmation, depending on complexity and quantity. The GiPro Standard Series can be shipped within a few days. All lead times are confirmed at the time of order.
Can you add academy branding on Gi bags?
Yes — we print your academy logo on Gi bags for a complete branded package. This is a popular add-on for academies placing new uniform set orders.
Can we order a complete academy kit from one supplier?
